Virtual Voice Network (Voice VPN) means integration of several geographically distributed telephone networks into a single network featuring a single Numbering Plan. In such a case, the telephones in the virtual network have single numbering, as if they were connected to the same private automatic branch exchange (PABX).
The use of Voice VPN enables operation of a customer’s company various outfits and affiliates as part of a single virtual office, with a capability to integrate this service with Comstar’s other services, including those for broadband access to the Internet (100-1000 Mbps) and new-generation packet switched telephony (VoIP).
Subscribers of a virtual network can call one another and make use of local/national/international communications of guaranteed quality. Such voice supplementary services as individual voice portals, IVR, instant messaging service, virtual call handling centers and others, are available to them.
Subscribers can manage the personal services and specify the call handling algorithm through a simple web-interface.
