Growth of competition in any segment of economy will result in company, which is naturally determined to expand its business, territory wise as well. Increasingly more branches are getting involved in the work process. The use in the NGN Comstar Network of the state-of-the-art technologies to manage heterogeneous IP/MPLS traffic guarantees that the data transfer speed required is supported and the services with a guaranteed QoS are provided. The NGN Comstar-based solutions give corporate customers the capability to employ a flexible network infrastructure, which requires minimum administration costs.
VPN’s feature the following capabilities:
- High scalability of data transfer: from 1 Mbps to 100 Mbps;
- Based on the QoS management, provision of service of different levels depending on customer needs;

- High security of customer network thanks to the use of IP/MPLS. The established NGN VPN allows simplifying centralized management and ensuring the network security;

Depending on a customer’s business specific features and its organization structure, Comstar United Telesystems offers corporate customers several variants for integration of the LAN’s:
- Virtual private channels, VPC, with a throughput of 1 Mbps to 100 Mbps allowing establishment of communications between two remote offices;
- Layer 2 virtual private network, L2 VPN (VPLS), allowing integration of corporate networks, which are using different protocols and placing stricter requirements to security and performance;
- Layer 3 virtual private network, L3 VPN, offers a solution for integration of many geographically remote offices, which may be located not only in Moscow, but also in other Russian cities and worldwide.
