A dedicated telecommunication channel is constructed based on the last mile technologies, and namely:
- Frame Relay
It is an economical solution for the companies that need to interlink several offices and supply all of them with Internet access and data transmission capability. This technique secures to the client a guaranteed speed rate for data transmission.
- ADSL
In this case the Internet access is made over a copper wire coming from the COMSTAR node or MGTS network.
- HPNA
This technique is designed to provide Internet access in residential compounds and office areas. It uses the already existing telephone wiring. The point is that the Internet session does not occupy the telephone set. HPNA supports the bit rates up to 10 Mbps and distances up to 500 m with any transmission topology (point-point, star, bus, combined).
